Sunny Porch Sunning

A portrait of our beloved Golden Retriever Sunny (now deceased) on our screened porch in New Mexico. She had a habit of crossing her front legs in this position, as well as when fully lying down. As with all dogs, she had a distinct personality: dancing when it was time to eat; sitting next to my chair to look out the patio door in the mornings while my husband and I drank our coffee and tea and also looked out on the world; watching television intently when we viewed animal documentaries; always thrilled to greet the postwoman...the list of her endearing traits is long and we certainly miss her.
