The Morning Breeze

A plein air painting from several years ago, except for the horses which were based on photos I took. This racecourse in Tucson no longer exists, so I'm pleased I was on site to paint "The Morning Breeze" while it was still operating. The title reflects the morning exercise of racehorses, called breezing--neither an all out run, nor a walk or trot session, but an easy morning exercising run.
